LE SERMENT DU JEU DE PAUME Lancement du projet ACMÉ Fight.For.Freedom 2026

 

Le lycée Ravel et la Ligue ILARGIA proposent en 2026 un jeu de rôle historique à leurs partenaires européens. 

La classe de Première BFI a pris l'initiative de leur proposer un modèle en vue de réaliser cette activité et ont pris la pose ce mercredi 14 janvier, pour représenter le "serment du jeu de paume" par lequel, en 1789, débuta la Révolution (d'après l'oeuvre de J-L David). Ravel High School and the ILARGIA League are offering a historical role-playing game to their European partners. The Première BFI class took the initiative to create on 14 january a model by posing to represent the Tennis Court Oath (serment du Jeu de Paume) which, on 20 june 1789, began the French Revolution.

Toutes les écoles secondaires du réseau ACMÉ sont invitées à choisir librement un tableau, un dessin ou une photographie célèbre (à moins qu'elle ne décrive un événement qui le soit et qui paraisse aisément reconnaissable, au moins aux yeux des lycéens locaux) pour illustrer le combat pour la Liberté et les valeurs démocratiques. All secondary schools in the ACMÉ network are invited to freely choose a famous painting, drawing or photograph (unless it depicts a famous event and appears easily recognizable, at least to local high school students) to illustrate the fight for Freedom and democratic values.. 

L'ensemble des productions seront partagées et commentées dans le twinspace "PALDIES" (nom du nouveau projet de coopération à distance créé conjointement en décembre par le lycée Ravel de Saint-Jean-de-Luz et le lycée de Baldone - près de Riga, en Lettonie). Sont invités à collaborer dans ce cadre tous nos actuels partenaires : notamment quatre écoles secondaires du Pays Basque et des lycées situés au Portugal, en Italie, Roumanie, Allemagne, Pologne et Turquie.. plus tous ceux qui viendront s'ajouter. All the productions will be shared and discussed in the "PALDIES" twinspace (name of the new remote cooperation project created jointly in December by the Ravel high school in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and the Baldone high school situated near Riga, Latvia). All our current partners are invited: including four secondary schools in the Basque Country and high schools located in Portugal, Italy, Romania, Germany, Poland, and Turkey... and all those who will join us later.

We hope that you will be kind enough to let us know your intentions by Christmas or at the very beginning of January and, to help you, I will give you some details concerning our ambitions for the Ravel high school.

As a reminder, two possible areas of work within the framework of the ACMÉ / RESISTANCE system: studying Resistance to oppression and the fight for Freedom (History and Memory, civic education) or Resilience in the face of crises, particularly climate crises (Life sciences, Geography and civic education)

Concrete achievements to be publicized.

The main product of the project would be audios to share to develop Orality, then the debate (examples are available on the high school's Podcast site called "QUINTESSENCE.RADIO") but other achievements of a different nature are possible, to highlight on our Twinspace: videos for example, eTwinning guaranteeing that students are not exposed to the gaze of intruders foreign to secondary education.

Mobilities and events scheduled.

Concretely, in terms of our agenda: we have already planned to go to Poland (not the Ravel high school, but some adult members of the association) in the Spring or this summer...

We must also (the French high school) receive a Latvian school in May (possible work on resilience in the face of the climate crisis and the sixth extinction, but also on resistance to totalitarianism).

We are asked to "mark the occasion" on June 18 (85th anniversary of Operation ARIEL celebrated by the municipality) or even to participate in an exhibition on this theme (the work can take place later, not necessarily on June 18, and be adapted according to the partner - for example, work on the Gernika battalion is possible, or on the Spanish of the second DB etc.)

We should go to Poland, this time with students, next school year (KA1 / towards Auschwitz and Gdansk)

Resources

As for our secondary school: we plan to include several classes in the system, therefore to address both axes

Group 1 of Franco-Spanish students (with the participation of the two Spanish teachers from the international section, therefore the possibility of using Castilian and English or even French - I also have these students in class, usually) / perhaps preferably on the theme of resilience, but everything is possible with regional partners, depending on their expectations

Group 2 of students specializing in History and Philosophy (we are two teachers involved) more interested in Totalitarianism

Group 3 a Latin-Greek group, open to questions relating to the city and citizenship, or even to approaches that may resonate with contemporary issues (parity, status of women and children, imperialism). Here again, the concrete work themes will be defined with the partner(s) who will be associated

We do not think that all schools must necessarily take part in the two axes of the project; the concrete achievements must be adjusted to the means (therefore remain modest). Of course we are open to mobility (local meetings or hosting accredited mobilities).

Hello everybody:

our new project is almost ready to become an application for a simplified partnership we should quickly deposit : before the 4^th of october. 2023.

Please check in and tell if all is okay and clear enough in your opinion.

Concerning mobilities, three short-term exchanges are planned :

C1 in France related to frontiers and interregional cooperation, C2 in Poland connected to intra and international relations problems (Solidarities) and C3 in Türkiye which is a good place to talk about the help to victims and the strength owned by civic communities to overcome disasters of all sorts (Resilience). Perhaps R3 may be a concrete meeting (in France or elsewhere, depending of remaining funds from the NGO).

We think some of our experts in C1 may probably come from Romania (Mircea about religion and civic duties) and in C3 from Bulgaria (duties towards Life). The question is to be sure invited people are free to make a study travel in the same time they are supposed usually to be in school.

I d like to transmit our papers as soon as possible since we'll be too much busy to have many talks about in september and the computers in Brussels may be out of order. Even if we know only a very few number of simplified partnerships will be accepted by the French representatives of the UE commission (perhaps 15 or 20?) it's important to try again. No renouncement !

Bonjour à tous ; nous réfléchissons actuellement (l'équipe française et le bureau de la LIGUE ILARGIA) à la conception d'un partenariat simplifié que nous déposerons rapidement,  en octobre. Le coordinateur devant être inexpérimenté, notre association internationale est potentiellement, nous l'espérons, un candidat approprié pour participer en tant que chef de file à ce nouveau projet relevant de l'action-clef 2 (KA 210 nommé PPS.ACMÉ).

Concernant les « outsiders » (c'est-à-dire ceux d'entre vous qui ne devraient pas porter la candidature à cette coopération de type KA 210 : je veux dire Cluj, Dobrich et Praha) nous essaierons de refaire au plus vite un KA 220 de taille moyenne avec vous. Le nom temporaire de ce partenariat scolaire classique coordonné par le Lycée Ravel est COOPÉ - mais il n'y a malheureusement pas d'appel à candidatures pour ce type de partenariat avant l'année prochaine (été 2024 au plus tôt).

NOTA BENE : s'il s'avère impossible d'obtenir des subventions européennes pour un partenariat porté par notre ONG, le prochain KA220 pourrait être un consortium de plus grande envergure réunissant toutes les équipes ayant participé au plan original de la collaboration ACMÉ (non sélectionnés en juillet) ; mais si notre KA 210 était approuvé seuls les « outsiders » seraient invités à participer à notre KA 220 COOPÉ puisque nos autres amis (les « insiders» polonais et turcs) devraient déjà travailler avec nous dans le cadre du PPS.ACMÉ.

Hello everybody:

As you know, our common application for a partnership made between 6 schools and the NGO called ILARGIA LEAGUE was not selected by the French National Agency

Yesterday, the reasons were given to us : according to the official note written by the authorities, the project itself is not critizised but only the organisational abilities of the ILARGIA LEAGUE. Perhaps it's because of the presentation made last year by the Erasmus+Agency, wich may have incited some project holders to prefer applicant plans supported by NGO rather than partnerships held by schools (as schools were described as "no efficient enough" to manage budgets of the KA2 cooperative actions). Or it' because our NGO's credibility as this entity is too young and not rich enough compared to the big project we wished to coordinate?

We prayed today the Agency to give us more precisions and to express an opinion about our chances to be selected if we redo another application. Not sure we'll have a significant answer but we attempt to obtain good information before a brainstorming to change the original project (we plan to implement this workshop on midaugust). Indeed I believe we should try to make a smaller version of ACMÉ in the hope to be selected in october in the framework of simplified partnerships. Even if we must have no encouragement from the Agency and if we are not sure to be successful. But it means only a few schools and the NGO should be involved in (the ILARGIA LEAGUE would stay as our "squadron leader" since the simplified partnerships are designed for newbies). You can guess a strong reduction of the project is necessary because of limits given to the duration and the grants (60 000€ as a maxima) of these sort of partnersips.

In this new context, some of you will not have their schools be incorporated in the consortium but you'll probably can be considered if you want it as a resource like teacher member of the League and be invited to take part to one mobility as an expert; a part of us may also help to the intellectual outputs with our students in a remote mode (acting as eTwinners for instance). I need to know if you think is it easy for you to accept an invitation from the LEAGUE to take part to an activity granteds by the ERASMUS+ programme, even if you have no school holidays? (In France it would be complicated for the headmaster to let us free to move instead of give our lessons). And what do you think of the leads I have listed in this letter? (and whats'about the concrete possibilies for your school and/or yourself)?

L'INITIATIVE NOAH et le New European Bauhaus

 Après que le partenariat  ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS ait été primé par la Commission Européenne, qui lui a décerné le prix du  meilleur projet innovant dans le cadre de l'Innovative Teaching Award AWARD 2022, il est temps de relancer nos coopérations centrées sur  les animaux et la protection de la Biodiversité, lesquelles ont parfois soufferts des effets secondaires de la Pandémie entre 2020 et 2021. Et de prolonger "l'INITIATIVE NOAH". Nouvelle Orientation éducative et écologique.

After the ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS partnership was awarded by the European Commission, which has given us the prize for the best innovative project as part of the Innovative Teaching Award EITA AWARD 2022, it is time to relaunch our cooperation on animals and the protection of Biodiversity, which sometimes suffered from the sad effects of the Pandemic in 2020 and 2021!

First, you must know all the strategy implemented by Ravel High School's project holders and the International League of Teachers (ILARGIA) since 2027 was inspirated by the results of E+A (and the fomer NBE+ project). That is the reason we decided to call this activity  THE NOAH INITIATIVE. It was one in order to make a beautiful future together and help to etablish a "New ecological Order: Animals and Human beings, together".

BEAUTIFUL, SUSTAINABLE, TOGETHER

En mobilisant, lors de nos partenariats de coopération, des compétences scientifiques mais aussi littéraires, en les ponctuant par des performances artistiques et conviviales, nous nous conformions sans le savoir aux exigences du New Bauhaus, le projet de société porté par l'Union Européenne pour construire un futur durable, inclusif et éthique. Et, par ailleurs, nous développions des stratégies réutilisables (pédagogie par objectifs et référentiel, contrôle qualité cadencé, transdisciplinarité).

By mobilising, during our cooperation partnerships, scientific but also literary skills and abilities, punctuating them with artistic and convivial performances, we were unwittingly complying with the requirements of New Bauhaus, the social project carried out by the European Union to building a sustainable, inclusive and ethical future. And, moreover, we developed reusable strategies (pedagogy by objectives and frame of reference, regular quality control, transdisciplinarity).

 EITA 2022 AWARD

is now disseminated in the Erasmus+ Corner implemented in the lobby of Lycée Ravel after Mr Headmaster has decided to hang the commemorative plaque on the wall.

Local team is very proud but a new job must now begin with former partners and newbies taking part in our  european cooperative action as "Noah eTwinners"... from 2023 (especially in order to prepare a future partnership the name could be CityZen+).

EMPATHY AND ANIMALS PROTECTION IN THE NEXT ERASMUSMOB TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN OCTOBER, 2022

 WARNING!

Lycée Ravel is to organize in a couple of months the 3rd edition of a special activity ("la semaine de mobilisation en faveur de son ouverture internationale européenne" so called ERASMUSMOB event).

In the framework of this celebration, an exhibition will be done at the High School Library (CDI) by the French Pupils. This exibition's  name will be "Captain Sensible" and be dedicated to legendar and/or real samples of empathy between Human Beings and Animals.

In addition, partners ot the E+L.o.L. partnership visiting Saint Jean de Luz from the 10th to the 14th of october will take part in a boat tour to see dolphins in Cantabric Sea and will go to the cinema to see the sci-fi movie produced by E+A (Noah) teams. There will be also some videoconferences in wich we hope our former Erasmus+ partners will participe.

ERASMUS MOB I (made december, 2020 and presented as the C5 remote study travel) and ERASMUS MOB II (made in november, 2021 in the same time we were guest in the EUROSCOLA virtual session) reports are: in the NOAH transnational public portal.

Écrit à partir de Mai 2019 (C3, Dobrich) après la sélection du meilleur projet de première scène et définitivement scénarisé entre Novembre 2019 (C4 , Alcochete) et Janvier 2020 ce film proposant une réinterprétation du mythe de l'arche de Noé aurait du être tourné et monté par les élèves des quatre écoles du projet réunis en France (C5, prévu à Saint-Jean-de-Luz). Face à la crise sanitaire, le tournage fut implanté en Juin 2020 au lycée Ravel après que le voyage d'étude ait du être reporté, puis le produit semi-fini fut mastérisé suite à l'atelier vidéo fait à distance dans le cadre de l'échange virtuel s'étant substitué à la mobilité annulée du mois de Décembre (ateliers "en ligne").

THE LAST E+A MEETING: R5 in ALCOCHETE, OCTOBER 2020

 

Due to COVID the Romanian team was empeached to come to Alcochete and it was a great pity! But R5 report and results are available online and the project holders still prepare the implementation of C5 study travel in France (before Xmas).

ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS, IT IS NOT (STILL) FINISHED!

Since June 16, we know that the National Erasmus + Agency has accepted the derogatory extension of the duration of our partnership (range from 36 to 40 months) This is good news which allows us to hope to fully accomplish the plan of mobilities provided for in our application. In addition, French student volunteers who were participating in the project but who have to leave the school this summer - like all the French pupils involved in E+A from the Lycée Ravel - shot a draft of the film "THE ARK" so that our intellectual productions were completed in all cases (the movie will be finished during the C5 exchange if it can be maintained in accordance with our common intention).

R5 TRANSNATIONAL MEETING

After consulting the partner schools (by videoconference) today, it was agreed by the members of the partnership that the R5 sustainability seminar (transnational meeting without students), possibly scheduled for the end of July, would be postponed taking into account, first that the extension of the duration of the E + A project (Noah) beyond the month of August, its initial legal term, no longer requires anticipating the implementation of this mobility during the holidays (to avoid loss dedicated grants). In addition, that the local health situation of the meeting hosts is today questionable (Alcochete being in the immediate vicinity of Lisbon, where the authorities have decided to reconfigure the populations) And also because the freedom of movement of Bulgarians and Romanians is currently limited and the normal resumption of flights between these countries and Western Europe is not fully guaranteed by the autumn. 

DATE OF THE C5 IMPLEMENTATION : From the 12^th to the 14^th of October (the later moment possible, after a demand of French Authorities in order to avoid to organize the seminar in september).

C5 LAST STUDENTS EXCHANGE

Regarding the last exchange between students, the date already agreed has been confirmed (from 2 to 6 November in France) even if it is unfortunately possible that circumstances lead us to have to adjust it further (in the hypothesis of a second wave again leading to traffic restrictions).

We will do in this context a cinema poster design workshop (with the mission of making THE ARK film poster) and perhaps a little editing and postproduction as part of another workshop with a handful of students engaged if our experts can be present.

E+A (Noah) becomes a 40 months european project!

The duration extension of E+A (Noah) is now effective since the French National Agency has accepted to postpone the project's last deadline from August to December.

It means we'll have time enough to implement both R5 and C5.
